Unlikely Companions is a contemporary New Zealand gin brand rooted in unexpected harmony – between flavours, people, and ideas. Inspired by perfume, we play with interesting and unusual flavour pairings to create moments of bliss. Based in Hawke’s Bay, Unlikely Companions is new to the gin scene, having just launched in August 2025. 

We are driven by a uniquely New Zealand take on creativity. Our gins pair individually distilled botanicals, blended with precision for layered but refined flavour experiences.
