Daydream Gin

The NZ Rum Co is an Auckland based small-batch rum distillery founded in 2020.
Their latest dream to become reality is Daydream Gin, a savoury and herbaceous gin that takes you to those far off places made only of daydreams!

Founder Rob O’Connell decided to make a dream into a reality after years of skippering superyachts around the world. With a love for the ocean and boats, there were many hours spent discussing the history and heritage of rum. From this the dream was born, to bring the craft of rum back to New Zealand, combining the traditional base of rum production with the modern palette looking for fresh botanicals and elements of spice.

With a distillery based in Hillcrest on Auckland’s North Shore our ambition is to bring our customers a true craft rum experience.
