GIN EXHIBITORS

CURIOSITY GIN

Curiosity Gin has a unique personality and a flavour that makes it stand out from the crowd. Made in small batches, we use whole botanicals steeped in the base spirit for 24 hours before re-distilling, through our copper pot still "Yoyo", to create a true hand distilled aromatic gin.

JUNO GIN

Aotearoa’s goddess of gin. Juno Gin features fresh locally sourced botanicals, pure Taranaki mountain water and distilling artistry that has caught the notice of awards panels all over the globe. To complement their signature Extra Fine gin, Juno release a new gin each quarter that captures the unique abundance and essence of that season. From the rich narrative behind each gin to its gorgeous iconic black bottle and award-winning taste, expect the divine.

DANCING SANDS

Dancing Sands Distillery starts from the most stunning place on the planet, Golden Bay New Zealand.  We are New Zealand’s most awarded distillery crafting our simply stunning gin range from the classic Dry Gin and Sun-Kissed gins to the adventurous Wasabi-Strength and Chocolate gins.  There is something for everyone.

BLUSH GIN

Blush is here to tickle your taste buds! Let our Rhubarb Gin or our latest Boysenberry take you on a flavour adventure. And YES our legendary Gin Slushies will be back and better than ever. Drink Local, Be Social #BlushGinNZ

LIGHTHOUSE GIN

Inspired by the spectacular Cape Palliser Lighthouse on the southernmost tip of the North Island, Lighthouse is one of New Zealand’s oldest craft gins. Distiller Rachel Hall is the custodian of a recipe perfected over many years that includes nine botanicals and spring water from the Remutaka Ranges. The result is a pure, complex gin with magnificent citrus, a finely spiced creamy palate.

HI I.Q. LIQUOR MERCHANTS

Many liquor industry people roll their eyes when the phrase "best in the world" is rolled out, so often it is heard, so seldom proven. Hi I.Q. Liquor Merchants goes to great length to source the very best products and make them available to you, including Edinburgh, Fleischmanns and King Robert II.

LITTLE BIDDY

Created in honour of Reefton legend Little Biddy, a pipe-smoking, gin-toting, 4 foot tall goldminer. Our search for native botanicals takes us deep into the same West Coast rainforest where Biddy once fossicked for gold, to craft a uniquely New Zealand gin with a pioneer’s attitude.

DENZIEN URBAN DISTILLERY

When city people want a city gin to call their own they take matters into their own hands and go on a mission to build an artisan distillery. Fanatical in the pursuit of no-compromise craft gin, we distil rain water with native botanicals in a gorgeous hand-made copper still right in the heart of Wellington. We make brazen city gins.

1919 DISTILLING

Winner of the Alcohol Category in the recent Artisan Awards, we wanted to bring back the charm and charisma of the 1900s while creating an honest gin that kiwis could celebrate as their own. With a commitment to keeping things local, 1919 Distilling uses a 600L still that was custom built in New Zealand, source botanicals from small artisan suppliers some of which include Otago cherries and Raw Manuka Honey from the Bay of Islands.

VICTOR GIN

Pondering early rock n’ roll, we thought a few rudimentary instruments working together sound great - let’s work with the basics, get some robust tones going, then turn up the volume. This stripped back approach is how we created Victor Gin. Juniper, lemon, lemongrass, cardamon & coriander - all delicious flavour tones, uniquely decipherable, that hum together with nowhere to hide.

BUREAUCRATS GIN

Bureaucrats Gin is an innovative gin distillery located in Wellington NZ where two Wellington bureaucrats distill small batch, hand crafted original gins.  Will you prefer their Coconut, Lime and Lemongrass Gin? Or maybe their Spiced Cinnamon Gin is the one for you? Whichever you choose, you’re sure to adore their Black Doris Plum Gin, it's a world first!

SUNDOWN GIN

Putting a premium twist on the premix world. A traditional dry gin made in the sunny Bay of Plenty from natural botanicals with a kiwi twist of Kawakawa and Horopito. New Zealand made, 100% natural, preservative free, low in sugar.

BLENHEIM BAY GIN

Blenheim Bay is a pioneer of the now thriving New Zealand craft gin scene.

Bold and intense, with a total of eleven botanicals, this premium dry gin has distinctive citrus notes, and makes an exceptional G&T.

INDIGINOUS GIN

Indiginous Gin is the passionate adventure of good mates Simon Wilson & Chris Charteris. After 2 years experimenting and scheming, we have established our distillery on the site of the original Tuatara Brewery in the Reikorangi Valley, on the Kapiti Coast. We focus on creating gin which delights those who drink it by delivering a smoothness and clarity of flavour that says quite simply and honestly, 'THIS IS REALLY GOOD GIN".

THE HUDSON

The Hudson is a mix of the old and new, lived-in and luxuriousness. The ground floor’s worn-in interior shows off the original building’s bones (built in 1927, the same date as NYC Hudson/ Holland tunnel was opened) and makes a highlight of the bar - an island of marble and wood where specialty is flavour. Where cured meats, cheeses, craft beer and boutique gin lead the way! It’s the architectural version of a blazer, T shirt and old jeans. It’s about relaxed luxury.

FOOD

Inspired by the magic of Asian night markets, Mao & Co fuses authenticity with a wild sense of imagination, to deliver a cutting edge experience to Wellington’s foodie scene.

Beat Kitchen is owned and operated by 2 qualified and experienced chefs.  We make everything we can in our food truck using as many local and seasonal ingredients as we can get our hands on.  Look out for the big red and white bus!

Elemental Eats provide a real food option. Their goal is to provide a selection of delicious, nutrient dense food that is minimally processed and free of dairy, gluten and refined sugars without compromising on taste!  They are the go to Food Truck for the vegan, paleo and keto crowds (and everyone in between!)

We want to make the kind of dumplings that a grandma would feed to their grandchild. We make everything from scratch with no cutting corners, using nothing but the best NZ produce. It is our obligation to make delicious food without costing our planet an arm and a leg.

We are a Vegetarian food truck selling New York style pizza, served by the slice or as a whole, which is 18".

Along with pizza we sell healthy fruit based smoothies and smoothie bowls with homemade chocolate granola, similar to a smoothie bowl.

Both Christchurch and Wellington are R18.  No children please, it's an adult-only event.

I have bought a bottle of my favourite gin. How do I take it home?

We have secure storage for your retail purchases.  These bottles will be kept safe until you collect them (see the map on your programme).  When you have made a purchase your bottle will be placed into a bag and you will be given a ticket to present on your way out.  They are not to be opened on site.
